Bought this last weekend and for the money it is an excellent deal. Picture qualityis above average but not great. Sound is again above average but not great. Then again, I'm not a TV junkie and don't need the top of the line to be happy.

I could not be happier with this little TV/DVD Combo unit. I plugged it into the cable w/o a set top box and picked up 50 more channels than the old 19" crt set it replaced. I get a wonderful picture on both SD and HD channels. Dispite reviews to the contrary, the sound quality and volume level seems perfectly adequate for a small 11 by 10 foot bedroom. I highly recommend this set for use in simular settings.

We bought this TV for its great price. It was defective and we went through a hassle trying to get it fixed. In the end, we had to pay to sent it back Toshiba at our cost. We chose to but this product from Best Buy and a slightly higher price but it comes with a guarantee. We will not buy televisions from Amazon in the future. It is a big headache if it does not work.
