Product Description Toshiba's 3rd Generation digital video processor runs at a fast 333Mhz, with high 14 bit internal processing. PixelPure is capable of producing an amazing 4,096 levels of gradation (16 times greater than an 8 bit processor) for a smooth, natural picture without image banding. PixelPure continuously monitors the incoming video signal, adjusting multiple picture quality parameters including real speed progressive scanning, dynamic gamma, and now dynamic back-light control and improved dynamic MPEG noise reduction. Superior processing creates a superior picture. With PixelPure 3G, all 2007 REGZA models set themselves apart with incredibly deep, vibrant, sharp, clean and natural images, for home theater beyond your imagination.
Amazon.com Product Description Now you can play your entertainment library on one versatile machine. Since the 32LV67 has both a DVD player and a 32-inch screen, you won't have to worry about connecting different electronic components in order to watch your favorite program. This convenience is matched only by its smart, stylish design. The Value of LCD TVs Aside from their obvious aesthetic value, LCD TVs are much more practical in the home than CRT (tube-style) televisions. They take up a smaller footprint, and thus use up less floor space in the room. Also, LCD TVs are lighter and easier to move around when cleaning or redecorating. The 32LV67 is only 4.65 inches deep and weighs less than 37 pounds. Best of all, LCD screens use less power than CRTs and plasma screens. Full-Featured DVD Player The 32LV67 includes an integrated, slot-loading DVD player. It has upconverting technology that improves the standard picture definition of regular DVDs to match the 1366 x 768 (720p HDTV) display resolution of the 32LV67. Connections The set has a built-in digital television tuner, so out of the box it can receive digital broadcast ATSC signals and QAM signals used by most digital cable providers. It also has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner, so it can also accept traditional analog signals. It is also capable of these connections: - HDMI inputs: 3
- ColorStream HD component video inputs: 2
- PC monitor input: 1 (VGA 15 Pin D-Sub)
- RF input: 1 rear
- A/V inputs: 2 (rear and side)
- Optical audio output: 1
Audio The SoundStrip speaker system hides the unit's speakers in a thin strip bordering the screen. They're powerful enough to deliver big stereo sound, but they don't add significantly to the size of the set. Toshiba's StableSound feature maintains television volume within a preset range regardless of the source signal. This is an extremely useful feature when transitioning between a quiet television program and a very loud commercial advertisement or when changing channels. SRS WOW, a combination of SRS 3D, TruBass, and Focus sound-expanding systems, create a 3-D sound field with improved bass response over standard TV audio and create directed, three-dimensional audio sweet spot for maximum enjoyment. The cabinet includes stereo speakers, but the TV also has optical digital output for connecting to your audio system. Other Features Channel browser shows you thumb-nail images of the last five channels you've watched at the touch of a button. You can also see previews of your preset Favorite Channels along the bottom of the screen. What's in the Box 32LV67 32" Regza LCDVD TV, 4-item universal remote, stand, product manual

Solid May 3, 2010 David Boerma Had it for 2 years, use it in my bedroom mounted up high on the wall. Has worked great, no issues.
Worked for about 2 years now no picture.... February 13, 2010 Jill G. (Kalispell, MT) THIS IS THE LAST TOSHIBA I'll ever purchase.
Toshiba "Customer Support" is useless and tells me there is nothing they can do because it's out of warranty. They said I can either repair it myself and bare the cost or can it--Completely worthless.
Purchased this almost 2 years ago AFTER doing extensive research. At the time, the reviews were good but then again the TV was new so people weren't having the problems that many of us are experiencing now.
Four days ago the screen went black after a brief flash of the input mode screen upon each attempted start-up. At first, we thought it was maybe just a loose cable, but after putting in a DVD and getting a similar result we came to the conclusion that it was the TV itself. We are still in disbelief that such a new TV would go bad so quickly. The repair shop said it would cost about $200 to fix, which may not sound like much but since we paid around $749 less than two years ago we're a little bent about it.
So, if you are considering this TV or any other Toshiba...I would highly recommend looking at other brands instead.
Do NOT buy this TV if you don't want to waste your money and don't want to buy extended warranty September 19, 2009 Ahmed Badran (Wilsonville, OR United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this TV in November of 07 for 7.7.0 , used it roughly 3 hrs a day in the bedroom every night, very nice picture/sound I have to say...WHILE IT LASTED.
About a week ago I turned it on and heard a loud click and the screen went black and the sound was still working, I take it to a certified service center and they call me today and say one (or more) lamps have burned, and the other ones are drawing more current which is causing it to flash the picture for a second when it gets turned on and then goes black, the solution, replace the LCD panel and that would cost me 9.4.0 so the price of fixing the TV is more than the price of the TV itself in the first place, and Toshiba won't do anything to help simply because it's beyond the 1 year warranty, translating = crappy products that they know won't last more than a year.
So if you want the straightforward opinion, do NOT buy this TV, I've personally swore that I'm not buying any Toshiba products in the future, done with their crappy products.
Wonderful picture... PLEASE READ 2009 UPDATE BELOW! November 5, 2008 Sofia Hernandez (Woodside, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
UPDATED JULY 2009!: After barely 6 months of use this LCD actually blew out. We were watching television and all of a sudden everything went black... completely black. Resetting, unplugging and even praying didn't work! Luckily it was still under warranty and they came in a few days ordered a new screen and had it installed within a week. The total would have been 1500 hundred out of pocket if it weren't for the warranty. INSANITY!! Honestly, after scouring the internet I have come across the same issue repeatedly where people are stuck with this paperweight. Toshiba seems to not manufacter quality products that can make it past the first 12 months. The only upside was that there was a service center 10 minutes away and everything was in-home (from the initial inspection to the actual work)... that was a plus not having to lug around the television. You will need to have a dated receipt within 12 months and they will take pictures for service.
I had purchased this set back in February 2008 and wanted to review after having it for awhile.
This set with DVD player was purchased for our bedroom. The picture quality is gorgeous and vibrant. We have just moved and until we get our 42 inch Panasonic on the wall we have been using this one in the living room. It more than suffices! It looks amazing, that I could see someone using this one as a main tv if the room isn't too large.
Unlike other LCDs, this one does not turn dark or grayed out when viewed from different angles. The picture quality is amazing. The colors are vibrant and bright and I feel as if it is able to get a "true black".
As far as the DVD player... the reality is we have used it about 2 times; so I cannot review on the dependability. I have read and experienced that Toshiba DVD players love to conk out.
The frame is very sleek and sexy, just don't touch it with your oily fingers! I wish I had purchased two when they were on sale because I can no longer find the combos anywhere.
Again, if you can find it for a good price, jump on it. You will not regret it. Also wanted to mention that this set picks up an unbelievable amount of HD channels (about 90) without a cable/satellite box. We have service, but we always love to test the capability of the television.
Good TV, bad DVD player September 9, 2008 Roving reviewer I'm fully satisfied with the TV (picture quality, menu features, etc), but the built in DVD player has broken twice within the year. Luckily the 1-yr manufacturer's warranty is pretty good and they come to your home to fix it - but it's a major hassle. The repair guy said that this happens relatively often to the Toshiba TVs and they plan to stop producing the sets with built-in players. You're better off buying a TV-only set and get a nice swanky high-def DVD player to plug in!
